Webinar Description:
GripAble is a digital rehabilitation platform for the assessment and gamified training of the upper extremity. It provides patients with personalized engaging activities to play as part of their hand therapy while delivering providers with a wide range of objective data to measure and track recovery.

The GripAble platform is used by neurological, musculoskeletal, and pediatric patients and provides fun and engaging training activities that focus on different aspects of grip, hand and wrist movement. Therapists can create personalized training programs, set goals and track training either activity face-to-face or remotely.

Some of the evidence underpinning GripAble:

  • Serious games have been shown to have pronounced positive impact when used in rehabilitation
  • The ability to adapt game difficulty can stimulate recovery and maintain motivation
  • Gamification has been shown to improve motivation, improve adherence and promote long-term engagement
  • Home-based therapy can reduce provider costs

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will:

  1. To provide assessment and training to meet a range of clinical goals
  2. To improve engagement and adherence in rehabilitation
  3. To provide graded skill and repetition training to support neuroplasticity
  4. To support the rehabilitation of different cohorts of patients using case examples
