At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify three potential signs of a posteriorly dislocated shoulder secondary to muscle imbalances in an infant with a brachial plexus birth palsy
  2. Describe the Active Movement Scale and its use in assessing infants with brachial plexus birth injuries
  3. Describe four activities/exercises to encourage active shoulder range of motion following tendon transfer
